A vacant lot on 10th Street and Indian School Road where businesses once churned out Mexican food and fry bread will soon be developed into a spot to get Hawaiian barbecue and coffee. The big picture: Work is underway on the lot, and according to documentation from the city of Phoenix, it'll be home to Ono Hawaiian BBQ and a restaurant identified as Coffee Concept. Ono's website lists 1003 E. Indian School as the future location but doesn't say when it'll open. The company didn't respond to an email from Axios.
