Solar farms have been a hotbed topic in Pinal County for several years. With more and more proposed solar projects reaching city council meetings, there are certainly advocates and opposition for the energy source.

During Monday’s Eloy City Council meeting, another solar project was approved in a 5-2 vote, with Councilmembers Jose Garcia and Michelle Tarango being the only no votes.
