JA Solar, a Chinese solar cell and module manufacturer, signed on for a five-year lease at 99th Avenue Logistics in west Phoenix next to Tolleson. It’s leasing one full building totaling 272,456 square feet. It’s an extension of its current operations at the industrial park, after the company signed a lease for its first U.S. manufacturing plant in another building at the park in 2023, representing a $60 million investment and the creation of about 600 new jobs.
