Cross Ocean Partners, a financial services firm with offices in Connecticut, London and Ireland along with Breakwater Property Partners, a Southern California real estate investment firm, have jointly purchased The Beam on Farmer — a five-story, 180,000-square-foot office building with a six-story detached parking garage on-site. The property traded hands on May 16 in an all-cash deal for $56.2 million, according to sources familiar with the transaction. That comes out to about $311 per square foot.
