Gray’s Crossing Hospitality, in partnership with Huff Construction and H-CPM construction project management, has announced the groundbreaking of The Mtn Scout Truckee in Northern California’s Lake Tahoe Basin.

The 129-room hotel is slated to open in early 2028 under the management of PM Hotel Group and will be part of Marriott Bonvoy’s Tribute Portfolio.

Plans for The Mtn Scout Truckee include a lobby-level restaurant and bar, a third-floor whiskey bar and lounge named Tunnel 6, outdoor gathering space with fire pits, courtyard hot tubs, an event hall with a garden and patios, a fitness center, and valet gear storage for guests.
