A onetime industrial site, that has sat mostly vacant since 2010, is under review by a Denver planning body for a mixed-use development that could include 16-story buildings. The property, at 1717 E. 39th Ave., features several historic industrial buildings that formerly housed the Denver Rock Drill Manufacturing Company, which produced pneumatic drills used in the mining industry.
