Southwest Florida may be getting a new place to pick up some favorite $5 or less snacks. Buc-ee’s, the South’s best travel stop, is reportedly eyeing a new location in the Sunshine State.
While the beloved Beaver Nugget-and-jerky peddlers (and gas station) have just announced an opening date for a Gulf Coast outpost, they are continuing to spread across the South.
Gulfshore Business reports that Buc-ee's may be looking into opening a spot near Port Charlotte, Florida, on Interstate 75 between Sarasota and Fort Myers. The giant travel center would be the fourth Buc-ee’s location in Florida, as there are currently spots in Daytona Beach and Saint Augustine and a still-under-construction spot in Ocala, scheduled to possibly open by the end of the year.
