220 North Ada, the residential tower in Chicago’s Fulton Market District, has topped out. The announcement was made by general contractor Clayco on their Linkedin account last week.
Clayco, along with concrete contractor Adjustable Concrete, broke ground on the tower in March of this year. Designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, the 29-story, 314-foot-tall building will deliver 308 rental apartments. The unit breakdown includes studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans, plus nine penthouse apartments. Sixty-two units will be set aside as affordable.
