Takeda Pharmaceuticals is expanding at Innovation Park in Libertyville, adding nearly 80,000 square feet for a total of 105,673 square feet in the former Motorola Mobility campus.
The deal follows the late 2024 purchase of the 83-acre property by a joint venture of R2 Companies and JDI Realty for $35 million.
The overall occupancy remains at about 68 percent leased, as the expansion is offset by Medline Industries' plan to vacate about 138,000 square feet later this year.
