Highlights
Broker-developer Bill Senne proposed a seven-story, 60-unit apartment building with ground-floor retail at 1704 North Milwaukee Avenue in Bucktown, replacing a strip mall he has long owned.
The proposal includes 12 affordable units, a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, plus two studios and a two-level parking garage with 67 spaces.
The project requires a zoning change that has been introduced to the Chicago City Council, but its approval is pending a vote from the full council after passing the Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards.
