Highlights
Dutch trading firm IMC is expanding its space at Willis Tower by adding roughly 100,000 square feet of office space, increasing its total space in the building to over 250,000 square feet.
The deal is a significant win for Willis Tower owner Blackstone, as large tenant expansions have been uncommon in major U.S. cities due to the hybrid work era.
IMC, an Amsterdam-based market maker, opened its Chicago office in 2000, and it is now the firm’s largest global operation, employing more than 650 people.
