InterContinental Hotels & Resorts will open a site in Indianapolis later this winter, marking the first new luxury hotel to open in the state in almost two decades. InterContinental Indianapolis will come to fruition after a $110m restoration of a building originally built in 1926.

The hotel is situated close to the iconic Monument Circle and the Indiana State Capitol, and will feature 170 bedrooms, plus two new dining concepts including the first rooftop bar of its kind for the city, a 24-hour fitness center, 5,000 square feet of event and meeting space and the city’s only Penthouse Suite on a private floor. Locally developed and owned by Keystone Group, the project to create InterContinental Indianapolis has seen a new floor installed and the exterior enhanced.
