During CAVA’s fourth quarter earnings call in late February, chief executive officer Brett Schulman said the company was planning to enter Indianapolis “later this year.”

As it turns out, that meant about three weeks later. CAVA has opened its first restaurant in the Indianapolis metropolitan area — in Fishers — marking the chain’s debut in the state of Indiana. The new restaurant is 3,000 square feet and includes 40 seats in the dining room as well as digital order pick-up and delivery.

With this new market opening, CAVA now operates in 26 states and the District of Columbia. It finished 2024 with 58 net new restaurants for 367 total, and is projecting at least 17% growth in 2025, while targeting a total of 1,000 locations by 2032.
