A national company that has invested millions into single family rental properties in the Lafayette area and south Louisiana has bought another development for just over $23 million.

Chicago-based Kairos Living closed on a deal recently to buy 112 lots in The Chateaus off Malapart Road in Scott, land records show. The seller was national builder DR Horton, which had marketed the development as rentals.
