Dive Brief:
Gaubert Oil Company, which operates 18 Go-Bears convenience stores in Louisiana, will franchise and open Dickey’s Barbecue Pit restaurants at three of its locations, the company announced this week.
The first Dickey’s under this partnership will open at the Go-Bears off I-49 in Grand Coteau, followed by the second at one of Gaubert’s five c-stores in Thibodaux, Louisiana. The third location was not yet specified. These restaurants will feature Dickey’s staple barbecue dishes, such as smoked brisket and ribs, as well as a variety of sides.
This expands the list of restaurants Gaubert has at some of its Go-Bears stores, which already includes Subway, Noble Roman’s Pizza and its proprietary Southern Eatery QSR.
