Meta looks set to expand its data center footprint into Louisiana. Local press, including the Shreveport Times and Shreveport Bossier Advocate, report that Meta is planning to build a multi-billion dollar artificial intelligence data center in Louisiana near Monroe in Richland Parish's Holly Ridge. Public Service Commissioner Foster Campbell confirmed the news to USA Today Network and said the company aims to invest $5 billion in the project.
