The closures will affect the bank’s footprint in 12 different states, but no Houston or Texas branches will close, according to filings from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency. Woodforest will close four branches each in Ohio and Virginia; three locations each in Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland and New York; two branches in Kentucky; and one location each in Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
