Amazon is using tech from a Khosla Ventures-backed startup to run robot warehouses at Whole Foods

Amazon is relying on robotics technology from Khosla Ventures-backed startup Fulfil at a Whole Foods supermarket, where it is testing a new micro-fulfillment center concept.

The company plans to attach an automated warehouse to a Whole Foods supermarket so shoppers can purchase goods from brands not typically stocked at the organic grocer.

The technology could help drive more foot traffic in Whole Foods stores.
