Brookfield Asset Management is launching a dedicated strategy focused on developing infrastructure for artificial intelligence to meet growing demand from hyperscalers, enterprises, and governments.
The firm has already deployed tens of billions into this space and sees a “significant pipeline of opportunities,” according to Chief Executive Officer Bruce Flatt and President Connor Teskey.
Brookfield reported $613 million of distributable earnings in the quarter, up 12% year-over-year, and raised $22 billion in the second quarter, including $1.8 billion for its real estate strategies.
