The Sutton Co. and Koa Partners are working on a redevelopment at the closed Hill’s Cafe site on South Congress Avenue. A pair of hotels could be part of a mixed-use development on the 15-acre site.

The redevelopment is called the Hills, and in addition to hotels, it’s planned to have residential, office and retail space. The Hill’s Cafe was an old Austin eatery and music venue that opened in 1947 and closed in 2018.
