Three months after breaking ground, Howard Hughes’ mass timber office building in the Cypress area is 80% preleased. CrossCover Insurance, Advanced Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Howard Hughes’ Bridgeland office will be the first tenants of One Bridgeland Green, a 50K SF mass timber office building. 

Howard Hughes said in a news release that the leases exceeded expectations and make the case that businesses are seeking quality, sustainable and innovative office space. The building is the first mass timber office development in Greater Houston, although Hicks Ventures last year announced plans for the 200K SF Framework @ Block 10, a mass timber building in the city proper.
