A fast-growing, Detroit-style pizza chain based in Austin is preparing to open its third Houston-area restaurant, this time in the Heights. But the company, which has the financial backing of a major venture capital firm, appears to have more local plans in the works. Via 313 will begin serving its signature rectangular, sauce-topped pizza at 1541 N. Shepherd Drive later this month, the company said in a news release.
