The redevelopment of the former Ambassador Hotel site into an upscale apartment community just southeast of downtown Dallas is advancing.

OHT Partners has begun site work for a 299-unit luxury apartment community on approximately 2.5 acres at 1300 S. Ervay St. The first units could open as early as the third quarter of 2026, while the project is slated to be complete in 2027.

OHT Partners and Dallas-based architect firm Corgan use many of the architectural details that harken back to the original hotel, which was built in 1904.
