Chipmaker Infineon Technologies is selling its plant at 5204 E. Ben White Blvd. in Austin to semiconductor company SkyWater Technology. The Austin Business Journal reports that in spite of the sale, Infineon will continue to invest in the facility to make sure it’s operational by the time the acquisition is finalized. The companies have agreed to a long-term supply agreement.
