Tailwind Group has acquired Connection at Huntsville, a 288-unit, 792-bed student housing community in Huntsville, Texas. This marks the firm’s third acquisition of the year.

Berkadia Senior Managing Director Brandon Buell and his team brokered the deal. The buyer took out a $19.5 million loan from Old National Bank that matures in 2030, according to Walker County public records.

Arizona State University System previously owned the asset serving Sam Houston State University, according to Yardi Matrix information. The firm acquired it in 2022 from Pierce Education Properties.
