A Georgia-based chicken chain is gearing up for a major expansion in North Texas, looking to capitalize on one of the fastest-growing markets in the country. Zaxby's currently operates three locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro — Keller, Richardson and Mansfield — but it’s just getting started. A fourth store is expected to open by the end of the year in Prosper, along Highway 380 near Costco Wholesale Corp. The Prosper store is one of many planned for the region, as Zaxby’s eyes 100 to 150 new restaurants across the Metroplex.
