A Central Texas suburb will soon welcome its third H-E-B as the San Antonio-based grocer advances construction work on the estimated $30 million storefront, with a gas station and car wash incorporated into project designs. H-E-B broke ground on its upcoming location at 10110 RM 2338, Georgetown, TX 78633 in September 2024, with the Texas-sized plans calling for a 112,000-square-foot store.

It's just one of a dozen major H-E-B projects earmarked for the greater Austin metro in 2025, with an even mix of new stores and renovations in the mix. During a site visit on Thursday, July 10, MySA witnessed work actively progressing on the development, with signage on site promoting an estimated fall 2025 opening. H-E-B officials reiterated that timeline, adding that while they don't have a firm opening date at this time, the store is on track for either a late summer or fall debut.
