Dive Brief:
Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Reside, opened two new apartment-style hotels in Washington, D.C. — Reside Navy Yard and Reside NoMa — as part of the companies’ newly formed 10-year development relationship.
The properties offer “professionally managed, upscale accommodations designed for both business and leisure extended-stay travelers,” the companies detailed in a joint release Tuesday.
With the openings, the companies expand their Reside, a Wyndham Residence, portfolio, which includes residential-style hotels in Seattle and Houston. The brand, which fortifies Wyndham’s presence in the upscale extended stay hotel category, has a robust pipeline, Reside CEO Lee Curtis told Hotel Dive in November.
